What We Do

While we provide therapy, we are also in the business of hope. We hope to break cycles of abuse and patterns of unhealthy behavior, and we believe our clients have the ability to change.

 

Nova Counseling was founded by Sera Bennett and Jacque Sumida based on the shared values and hope that people can heal from sexual abuse. They have worked with both victims and offenders, and in 2016, they vowed to create an agency where clients have a safe space to address their harmful behavior and process their own trauma.

 

Now, Nova Counseling provides a myriad of services, including trauma therapy, offense specific services, substance use services, evaluations, consultation, and trainings.
